PhD candidate Jie-Ning Chuang represented BioPRIA at the 2026 Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) and Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Antibody Biology and Engineering, held in Ventura, California, USA, in March 2026. The meetings brought together researchers from academia and industry to discuss the latest advances in antibody biology, engineering, and therapeutic applications.

At the Gordon Research Seminar, Jie-Ning was invited to give an oral presentation in the session on Therapeutic Applications of Antibodies. The presentation, titled “Developing a Streamlined Affinity-Engineering Pipeline to Modulate Nanobody Affinity for Improved Tumor Penetration,” focused on developing an affinity-engineering strategy to tune nanobody binding strength for improved transport and distribution in solid tumors.

Following the seminar, Jie-Ning also presented a poster at the Gordon Research Conference, where leading scientists from around the world discussed emerging directions in antibody discovery, engineering, multispecific formats, and therapeutic design. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to share research with an international audience, receive feedback from experts in the field, and build new scientific connections across antibody engineering and translational biotherapeutics.
